Dear Kid Craft Seeker,

You may not have noticed, but you might be spending more time looking for a suitable new craft for your little ones than you do actually making the craft.

You would think that someone who grew up making crafts with dozens of kids (my mom ran a daycare) would not have the need to look for crafts on the internet. That’s why my studies in Early Childhood Education at the University of Texas had me looking for new and different crafts than those I had done before.

So I know what it’s like to look for crafts on the internet. I remember searching through dozens of web sites and crafts and only finding ones that were too complicated, too messy, involved me having to make a trip to the crafts store, buying materials I was never going to use again, or just not finding the craft that I wanted. It all took too much time, money and effort. And not worth the trouble in my opinion.

Recently a teacher friend of mine asked me for ideas for crafts she could do with her class. That’s when I realized there were probably other people with the same dilemma. I decided then to make this web page.
