My name is Liz Beresford and I suffered from insomnia for years and it drove me crazy. I was almost scared to go to bed because I knew I would lie there tossing and turning, wondering how I would ever get through the next day.

I read lots of books on insomnia and tried all the usual remedies, such as having a regular bed time routine and not drinking coffee late in the day and so on, but none of them were working for me.

I was so tired and cross. I’m a registered nurse, yet I couldn’t cure my own insomnia!

But since insomnia was ruining my life, I was determined I would find a cure. After all sleep is natural isn’t it? I set out to learn everything I could about sleep and sleeping. I begged, borrowed or bought just about every book, audio or report on the topic.


I studied sleep research results and I tried many remedies, including sleeping pills, audios, self hypnosis, pre-sleep routines, herbs and more. I swear I know more about sleep now than most doctors do! Actually doctors don’t learn anything much about sleep at medical school so its not their fault. (I know this because I am married to one!)
