Dear Friend,

My name is Mike and I am a personal trainer/health coach with years of experience in helping people to lose weight here to tell you one main thing..... Diets don’t work!

I know what some may be thinking, that some diets actually can get you to lose weight. Well let me clarify a bit.... sure most all "diet" programs can get people to lose weight in the short term, but a year or two down the road did it give them lasting results?

Sadly according to most people’s ongoing struggles with weight loss (and studies done on the effectiveness of diets), most are just gaining the weight back in an ongoing roller coaster battle.

I’ve seen it with clients and everyone around me. People lose the weight but then just gain it back.... then look for the next newest "fad" diet to help them once again. This yo-yo ride will only leave you worse off than when you started.... so it’s time for a lasting solution.

So in all my years of research and experience.... when I came across a simple approach to eating that got results, I jumped all over it. So much that I have been doing it for years myself and helping others to do the same in their lives.

Why is it that most people FAIL when they Diet?

Like I said above, most can help you lose weight in the short term..... but is this really doing to last?

If the diet is too complicated, restrictive on foods, and just not enjoyable to do.... well how is that supposed to be a lasting lifestyle solution? Who really wants to go around all day with measuring and counting calories as their daily routine?

People fail on "diets" because at some point you get off that diet.... and then what are you left with? Usually falling back into old destructive habits and choices that will get you back to where you were long ago.

So before you try any eating approach to weight loss, just ask yourself "is this something I see myself still doing a year or two down the road"? If the answer is "No", then it’s time for a different plan.

Diets are not going to help you get lasting results, but a realistic lifestyle approach will. Finding something that you enjoy doing every day, don’t feel like you are restricted in your eating choices and leaves you with time to just enjoy life....
