Dear Friend, It’s true that not everyone is born with high self-esteem and self confidence. We’re not all born leaders, admired by the whole world. But when low self-esteem is taking control of your life and keep you from reaching your goals and fulfilling dreams, it’s time to take action and make a change. And the good news is that it’s much easier than most people think. My name is Amy Twain. I wasn’t always the confident woman that I am today. On the contrary. Not too long ago I was a shy person with very low expectations. I settled for anything, as long as I wasn’t being put in a position where people could judge me. Sometimes I wished I was totally invisible. People totally ignored me or abused me, because I never had the nerve to say no. I was letting anyone walk over me without objecting, too shy to confront them and too afraid of being judged. Then a friend of mine gave me a book about self-esteem and anxiety. I wasn’t too excited about it, but thought I had nothing to lose anyway. So I read it. Soon the book had all my attention. I found out that I wasn’t the only one with this problem. I decided to read more about the topic and ended up taking a course. Never had I expected that anyone could have helped me and take away my feelings of low self-esteem and self confidence. But the techniques and insights they taught me did me wonderfully well. I enjoyed studying this subject so much (getting my own personal results that meant the world to me) that soon I knew more about how to gain self-esteem and improve self confidence than anyone I had ever met. And now, years later I am a totally confident and self-loving woman teaching others how to increase their self-esteem with the techniques I have developed over the years. How’s that for a change! I have learned that people from all social classes, religions, professions and cultures suffer from low self-esteem at some point in their life. If you think that well known personalities are exempted from low self-esteem, think again. Even famous and well-loved people can have low self-esteem. That happens quite often actually. A good example is Princess Diana. In her 1995 BBC interview, Diana said, "You have so much pain inside yourself that you try and hurt yourself on the outside because you want help." And according to the book, "Diana: Her True Story", an autobiography, the book tells that she even tried to slash herself on the wrist using a razor. This is the extreme result of low self-esteem. And if the person can’t stand the pain in his or her life, he or she might commit the most disturbing act that a troubled person could do----suicide. See? That is only rooted from poor self-esteem. Isn’t it overwhelming? So the question that is on your mind right now is how to have healthy self-esteem to avoid that horrifying incident and get out of this vicious circle, right?.......
