Dear Internet Marketer,

A group of three men and me were gathered in my office for our weekly Bible study when a statement was made that really caused me to rethink how I was running my business.

Our discussion led to talk about "time". One of the men noted that a big difference between time and other resources is that you can never get time back once it’s gone. You have 24 hours allotted in every day and once you’ve used it up, you cannot get more.

We all nodded our heads in agreement. The point has been made many times in the past. It’s kind of like, "the earth is round". We know this. No point in talking about it. So, we moved on in our discussion.

But I didn’t stop thinking about that statement: "You cannot get more time".

It was early the next morning when I shot out of bed with a joyous thought -

"YES, YOU CAN GET MORE TIME!"

It was so clear to me that I could barely contain my excitement. It was something that I had overlooked for the first SEVEN YEARS of running an Internet business. Something so obvious that I almost slapped myself for not seeing it earlier.

How can you "get more time"?

You can BUY OTHER PEOPLE’S TIME!

Think about this for just a moment -

    * How did Sam Walton sell everything from paper clips to televisions in Wal-Mart stores all around the world?

    * How did Ray Kroc sell burgers and fries in McDonald’s fast food joints around the world?

    * How did Bill Gates sell software programs in retail outlets all around the world?

Do these guys (and others like them) have MORE TIME at their disposal than you and I? Aren’t they allotted the same 24 hours in every day as we are?

So what makes them different? The difference is they learned the power of leverage. They learned to BUY OTHER PEOPLE’S TIME.

They hired employees.

    And they used 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week and sometimes overtime from OTHER PEOPLE to build their businesses.

Think about that for just a moment. And let it sink in. You don’t have to do everything yourself. In fact, you CANNOT do everything yourself.

When I finally "woke up" to that reality, everything about my business changed. My sales went dramatically up, while my own time invested was reduced to just a few hours when I chose to spend them.

You CAN get more time. You CAN.

Listen, we all get stuck. But the smart people call a tow truck.
