You workout to look good. You would never go to a gym or step foot on a treadmill, or lift one weight if it actually made you look worse. Even though you know exercising, working out and eating right will keep you healthy, you wouldn’t do it if it somehow added a few pounds around your waist a butt and made you look saggy and flabby! Lucky for you the right workout and good nutrition habits will make you look great AND keep you healthy and young. There’s no way around it. The way you look and feel physically, mentally and emotionally are all linked together. The path that gets you there is also part of what makes it all work. Imagine walking into a crowded room with the confidence and figure of an elite level varsity athlete. People will be thinking to themselves ‘she looks great, she must be some sort of competitive athlete or figure model’…or ‘she must spend hours at the gym’…or ‘she must be a fitness instructor’. If you think you can’t do it, I say baloney! You can look great at any age, and people will notice. It’s all up to you! I’ve trained clients in their 20’s and in their 60’s. Everyone can get into great shape if they want too, you just need the right workout program! People will respond to your confidence and the way you look and give you the respect you deserve. You know as well as I do that people can’t help but give you a ‘once over’ look and pass a subconscious judgment about you before you even have a chance to say “hi my name is…” |
