"Finally, You Can Discover over 501 Public Speaking Secrets, Tactics and Techniques from Asia’s Top 3 Speakers... Guaranteed to help you WOW your audience and become a Popular and Respected Public Speaker..." Dear Friend, If you’ve always wanted to conquer stage fright and become a confident, engaging and persuasive public speaker… then this will be one of the most important letters you’d ever read. Why? Because I’m going to expose some of the most common myths about public speaking and give you powerful tips you can use to gain an immediate edge over your public speaking peers. Just a teaser of one of the many public speaking tips you’ll learn… Now, you may be wondering… who am I exactly and why should you listen to me? Before I get to that, let me tell you a quick story. Just over ten years ago, on 13 August 1996, a young man stood in front of 600 faceless students during morning assembly to give a speech. Knowing how nervous he was, the young man’s best friend Jacinta drew him a card to cheer him on. One of the lines in the card read “I am sure your speech will enchant everyone during the assembly and leave an impression!” Now, I’m not too sure about the “enchanting the audience” part… but the young man certainly left an impression! If you haven’t already guessed, that young man was me and that’s the story of my very first public speech. Hi, my name is Eric Feng and I’m also known as the “go-to guy” for public speaking. Over the last 4 years, I did a lot of crazy things. I have read almost every single book ever written about public speaking… dated back to the 1960’s. I have also attended countless public speaking programs and learnt from the best public speaking coaches. But what set me apart from most people is this… I do not just read, I do not just attend programs… Instead I actually do stuff… I actually go out there and take action and this is one of the big things that put me in the league of other top public speakers. You see, at the end of the day, it’s about stage time. It doesn’t matter how much you read or how much you learn. It’s about how much you applied… because through the application you actually learn more. Fact is, over the past 4 years, I have clocked over 1,000 speaking engagements… from small groups of ten… all the way up to a room full of over 2,000 people… very often twice my age.
And that’s not all… My passion for public speaking drove me to take part in and win numerous national level speech competitions. In 2005, I won the championship title for the Division Level Humorous Contest in Philadelphia, United States. Then two years later, I clinched the First Place Trophy for the International Speech Contest at Division Level. As acknowledgement for my speaking achievements, The Straits Times featured me as one of the top 25 alternate achievers of 2006. What’s more, I’ve had the honor to coach over 3,000 students, executives and entrepreneurs on public speaking… and the results have been phenomenal. I have executive clients who quadrupled their sales and doubled their promotions. I have helped students turn from nervous wrecks into competent speakers who represent their schools in different national level competitions… Now why am I telling you all this? Not to brag but because I want you to realize that… Becoming a great public speaker is not about talent! When I started out, I didn’t have the confidence to go up on stage to speak… I didn’t have the knowledge… I didn’t know what I needed to do… I stumbled on stage… I got embarrassed… self-conscious… and it doesn’t help that I’ve had some really bad experiences like the one I just told you. In fact, I would be willing to bet that if you were to approach people who knew me back then… and told them that I would be a public speaker one day, they would laugh straight in your face! But I guess the turning point came when I met my first public speaking mentor Terence Lin. He made me realize that becoming a public speaker is not about talent… it’s about knowing the tried and tested techniques, tactics and strategies from people who have been there… and of course being thick-skinned enough to go out there and try and fall… and try and fall again until you get it. Why most people fail in public speaking and what you can do now to avoid ending up in that pitfall One of the most common problems that a lot of people face is not being able to get quick, solid and practical answers to their burning questions on public speaking. In fact, I was just having coffee with my partner Andrew at Starbucks one day and he pointed out something about public speaking books you may relate to… “I have friends who read tons of public speaking books but they never attain the success they wanted.” Well, that’s because most of these books are full of fluff! They only… * Make you more confused * Give you tips that are so DUH! (like “You must speak with confidence”) and leave you with more questions in your mind (like “How do I exactly speak with confidence?”) * Make you browse through 137 pages before finding a paragraph that answers your questions… and after you’ve found that paragraph… you realize that it’s not elaborated! Don’t you wish you could have easy access to USABLE ANSWERS for the most frequently asked questions on public speaking… answers that have been tested on a REAL AUDIENCE? Andrew and I thought people would find such information extremely valuable so I sent an email to my public speaking tips newsletter subscribers and asked them the following question......... |
